Why is this exciting news? Well it is exciting for me at least.
Finding plus size clothing in Milan has proven to be a challenge, mainly in the jean category. While here is Calliope and Terranova as well as online options such as Zalando and Asos they have not proven themselves just yet, especially as I am still trying to figure out my Italian vs UK vs US clothing size.
After visiting Primark in Verona in 2019, it stole my heart, quality clothing at an affordable price. However, without a vehicle, the closest Primark is 1hr by Tram + Metro + Bus + Walking. I was willing to take the trek one day but the universe had better plans in store for me and I love it.
The store is scheduled to open on April 6th 2022 and will span 5 floors with 5 thousand square meters in via Torino. (Via Torino is a very popular shopping street which starts from Piazza Duomo. Some also refer to it as the International Shopping Street.)
